Welcome to Venezuela! Empty Welcome to Venezuela!

Sat Jan 26, 2019 6:02 pm
My name is Drew, and welcome to the tenth season of Survivor Unlimited! How the heck did we make it this far? Who knows.

Welcome to Venezuela! Mangat11

I'm currently traveling by helicopter to the beautiful Canaima National Park, located in southeastern Venezuela.

Known for its beautiful forests...

Welcome to Venezuela! Canaim10

...stunning waterfalls...

Welcome to Venezuela! Canaim11

...and diverse wildlife...

Welcome to Venezuela! Canaim12

...it's the perfect destination for another season of the world's greatest game... Survivor.

Welcome to Venezuela! Canaim13

This season, we're doing something we've never done before. We're pitting ten new players, all of whom are fans of the game... against ten of our most famous one-time players. But just who are these ten returnees? Let's meet them now.

WILL (Survivor: Libya - 7th Place)

Will played on Survivor: Libya all the way back in November of 2017. Despite being on the outs early on, his luck changed for the better when he landed himself in a majority alliance on the new Amhara tribe. He continued to work with this alliance throughout the merge, taking out many of his former Chagga tribemates who had once made him feel like an outcast. However, at the final 7, Amhara began to turn on their own, and Will was eliminated in an intense 4-3 vote.

Playing the game over a year later, is this Will's time to shine?

ETHAN (Survivor: Libya - 9th Place)

Also a contestant on Survivor: Libya, Ethan had perhaps the exact opposite story. His was originally a story of success, as he got into a majority alliance and found a super idol, putting himself in a great position. However, after a crazy 1-0-0 vote, Ethan found himself on the outside of his tribe. With a broken arm, he was unable to compete in immunity challenges, which sealed his fate and resulted in his elimination.

Also playing the game over a year later, will the Sole Survivor title be Ethan's to claim?

WYATT (Survivor: Honduras - 2nd Place)

Wyatt played on our first and only Blood and Water season, where he and his partner Ryan worked together closely and dictated a lot of the votes. They often found themselves in crucial swing positions within the tribe. It wasn't easy, but they navigated themselves all the way to the final two, where Ryan defeated Wyatt in a nail-biting 5-4 vote.

After being just one vote shy of winning, is it Wyatt's turn to seal the deal?

MAGNUS (Survivor: Denmark - 12th Place)

Known for his strong game and entertaining confessionals, Magnus was a talented player who wasn't afraid to pull off bold moves, perhaps most notable when he told the other tribe how to find the idol during an immunity challenge. Unfortunately for him, his tribe came into the merge at a 7-6 disadvantage. While he did win the first individual immunity challenge, he didn't win the second, and was eliminated in a 7-5 vote.

Can Magnus make the most of his second chance?

HANNAH (Survivor: Indonesia - 5th Place)

One of the more entertaining players on the wild ride that was Indonesia, Hannah is perhaps most notable for being the sibling of Season 1 winner Bailey. Despite losing a lot of allies during the early portion of the merge, Hannah managed to keep herself alive, all while holding an idol in her pocket, which she successfully used at the final 6, eliminating top contender Steve. Her game was brought to an end at the final 5 because she was a threat to the eventual winner's game.

Her brother has already won a season, can Hannah start some sort of family tradition?

TOBI (Survivor: Indonesia - 11th Place)

Also one of the more entertaining players on Indonesia, Tobi was a large favorite and a major contender during his time in the game. Going to Temptation Island, Tobi took a giant risk by sacrificing his vote at tribal council in order to choose his own tribe. He did a very good job with this, putting himself in the majority and giving himself a strong team that won two out of the three challenges. Unfortunately, at the merge, the numbers weren't there for Tobi, and he became the first member of the jury.

Does Tobi have what it takes to go all the way?

BLUE (Survivor: Mongolia - 4th Place)

Remembered for sending heaps of confessionals, Blue was a great strategic player who spent most of the pre-merge in a power position. However, the tables turned at the final 9 when he was saved by the bell and narrowly avoided being idoled out. From then on, he was an underdog, scraping his way through the game vote after vote. He was voted out 3-1 after making a fatal error in the final immunity challenge.

This time around, can Blue push a little further and make it to the end?

EMIL (Survivor: Mongolia - 7th Place)

A rather strategic player, Emil was similar to Blue in that he found footing early on, but slowly became an underdog fighting against the odds. He is perhaps most memorable for his creation of a fake idol clue, which he used to build trust with two people in the game. He was eliminated at the final 7 after a 3-3-1 tie ended in him being voted out.

Will Emil be able to go all the way this time?

JAYDEN (Survivor: Sierra Leone - 8th Place)

Jayden was definitely one of the more vocal players in Sierra Leone. He wasn't afraid to call people out when he needed to, which did earn him the ire of some of his tribemates. However, he was also a good social player, and a legitimate threat to win the season. He met his demise at the final 8, where he was voted out 6-2.

Can Jayden beat his previous record, and more importantly, can he go all the way?

SAM (Survivor: Sierra Leone - 11th Place)

Toward the very beginning of the game, Sam was seen as a bit of an outsider due to his dis-interest in the social part of the game. However, he turned out his reputation and quickly became a tribe favorite. But at the merge, Sam was very clearly a physical threat, and once again, he had a target on his back. When he was unable to win a second individual immunity, he was voted out 5-4-1-1.

Does Sam have what it takes to win?
